What is it?
RSL Level 2 qualifications in Creative and Performing Arts are nationally regulated vocational qualifications recognised across the UK. They sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and provide formal recognition of your child's achievement.
Unlike our Saturday group classes which focus on fun and skill development, RSL Level 2 is a structured, assessed qualification pathway. Young performers work towards Pass, Merit, or Distinction grades across multiple units, developing professional-standard skills in their chosen disciplines.

How It Works
Pass
Demonstrates all assessment criteria within the unit with structured work and core techniques.
Merit
Produces effective work with original ideas, applies detailed knowledge, and reviews work in detail.
Distinction
Excels with highly developed skills, produces original and convincing work, shows acute understanding of concepts.
All assessment is conducted internally by our qualified tutors. This means assessment is creative, flexible, and tailored to each learner's strengths. Evidence can include live performances, video recordings, written assignments, rehearsal logs, presentations, and more.
An external quality assurance team samples learners' work to ensure standards are consistent across all centres.
